Re: FS2 Vet on MWO

No issues so far on my home PC. Not much of a differential with Windows 7, but hey, get it while it's still free.

Re: Advice Needed

Another possibility is the power supply. If the voltage is dropping too low on the 5V or 12V rails then this can cause a reboot. This will happen especially under high load when the CPU and/or GPU are drawing more current. You can probably check the voltages through the BIOS or install a utility tha...

I've been looking into getting Skyrim too. Videos remind me of Dungeon Siege which I really enjoyed.

Re: Suggestions of what to do in Europe

Prague is pretty straight forward. Charles bridge and the Prague Castle are the main attractions. The astronomical clock is usually a cool sight but last I heard it is still out of commission so it is something I would look up first. Old town square and Welceslas Square are also worth having a look.

Re: Where my buds at?

The correct answer is that you prefer vehicles with the steering wheel in the middle, such as the Mclaren F1.

Re: Where my buds at?

Stick shift would be unpleasent in Ryan's homeland of California with its vast and frequent traffic issues. But I must agree that on a nice curvy road a stick shift is quite enjoyable. It's also nice to have that extra control over the car to get power when you want it. Btw, I'm still in grad school...

Re: Nostalgia

We have a great little community and its longevity is evidence of that.
It is amazing how many have come and gone and how many games we have participated in those 10+ years.

Cheers to all those that have stuck around for so long!

Re: What you up too?

Haven't tried the remake. I'm worried the added complexity of the Civ IV platform is gonna ruin it. I guess that makes me an old crank who doesn't like change  . Wasting a raptor would suck man, those are some sweet planes. Fortunately my robot will be struggling to walk without destroying its ...

Re: What you up too?

I have forsaken a good salary and working conditions to go on to graduate school; designing, building and programming the T101 terminator (or one of its ancestors). Gaming has been pretty sparse these days, got Farcry 2 for the PC and that's about my only purchase in the recent year or so. In my wea...

Re: Yank Elections

Was nice to see Obama get elected. I was especially glad that the result was in at a reasonable hour this time, unlike recent history :P. And he did it by beating a worthy opponent.
It will be interesting to see how he will perform and if american's will continue to support him.

Re: a game that might be interesting to folow

The game offers a realistic approach to space combat (based on newtonian physics)
Newtonian physics have been tried and it was a bad idea. I'm very skeptical that they can pull it off, the game play is likely to be horrible based on that statement.

Just to let you guys know

As some of you may have noticed my limited EVE participation has grown to zero over the last few months. Therefore I have suspended my account; however my ever constant presence on the forum will remain. It's been great playing EVE with you guys on and off over the past couple years and I may be bac...
