Getting active in EVE

Post by FF-Master » Tue May 23, 2006 22:53

I played eve a long time ago, back when FF was considering starting up in it. I loved the game and the whole concept around it. But due to lack of time I decided it wasn't worth the monthly fee because I wasn't playing so much.

I've got newfound free time now, Rocket Science school isn't as challenging as they make it out to be :P and summer break has started as well. Anyways I'm gonna start a new EVE account. I was hoping you guys could throw me some pointers (i.e how should I set up my character, what I should learn first etc.) and tell me how I can join up with you guys.

Hope to see you all in space soon

awesome mate, cant wait to gank...err... fly with u in game

the best thing to do is think about your game style mate. Even with creating an account it is usefull to know your general direction.

I recon best thing to do is to download TeamSpeak2, install it and get on our ts server.
I'll pm u the details.

Mostly there will be someone around to help u out.

Please consider though that most of us are euro, but not all.
So best time to get some help is around 20:00 gmt.

Hope to see u soon :D

choose a char with good perception and willpower if you want to go down the pvp route as all gunnery, missle skill and spaceship command skills require those attributes

intel and memory are the other good attributes for tanking skills

forget charisma its 4 da carebears (like colin :P )

It will great to have you aboard m8. I think you may want to keep training up some of the learning skills early, otherwise it will take longer to train the others. When we see what type of character you have and what role you want to play, I will start saving mods from mission loot for you. Good luck m8:)
